Russian Icon alla Pugacheva Faces ‌Prison ⁣Threat as She and‍ Husband Acquire Bulgarian Property

VLADAYA, ‍Bulgaria Soviet and Russian entertainment legend Alla​ Pugacheva, facing potential criminal charges⁤ in⁤ Russia, has purchased a luxury villa in the Bulgarian village of Vladaya, according to sources familiar with⁣ the transaction. The move ‍comes after Pugacheva and her husband, showman Maxim Galkin, left Russia following criticism of their opposition to the war in Ukraine.

The couple reportedly spent 500,000 euros on the property, one of the newest villas in a gated complex under construction at the foot of Vitosha mountain.The purchase was conducted discreetly through representatives of ⁣a company linked to ⁢their manager, with Pugacheva and Galkin not present for the transaction. ⁣Construction ⁤workers on the site ‍confirmed rumors of the couple’s investment,noting the complex offers “the highest ⁣class” amenities including advanced security and insulation.

While the couple has yet to visit the‍ property,they reportedly chose the ⁤villa based on project visualizations and photographs. Galkin is scheduled ⁢to perform a concert in Sofia on March 7th, with tickets‍ currently on⁢ sale ranging from 99 to 249 ​Bulgarian leva, and the couple is expected to visit their ⁢new home around ⁣that ​time.

Now,Pugacheva faces a⁤ further legal threat: Russian authorities are reportedly considering charges that could result in up to five years in prison for comments she made about Dzhokhar Dudayev,a Chechen separatist leader,in a⁤ recent interview following her departure from Russia.⁢
