The procedure for the admission of the pupils to the two upper school centers in the city of Gossau and the Maitlisek Gossau has been carried out under official supervision during these days. All registered students can be accepted into the Maitlisek this year.
A performance agreement has been regulating the schooling of upper school students residing in the city of Gossau and in the Andwil-Arnegg school community since 2019. Since then, the number of apprenticeships at Maitlisek Gossau has been limited to 50 percent of all secondary and junior high school students. This is to ensure that class formation can be planned and that the upper school classes are mixed with girls and boys at the three upper school centers in Gossau.
This year’s registration numbers simplified the admission procedure. The performance agreement stipulates that the quota of training places for secondary and high school students is calculated separately. The fixed quota for secondary school students is exhausted, and that for secondary school students is just undercut. From August 2021, all 35 interested schoolgirls can visit Maitlisek Gossau. 39 schoolgirls will enter the two upper school centers in the city of Gossau.
