The president of the Provincial Council, Carlos Mazón, travels to the United Kingdom next week to finalize agreements with tour operators
The Costa Blanca Board of Trustees will land next week at the World Travel Market in London to display a “complete” contact list with tour operators, online travel agencies and companies in the sector.
The purpose is to conclude agreements that allow to increase the connectivity of the United Kingdom with the province of Alicante,
get the british tourist back and mitigate the effect of Brexit and Covid-19 on the flow of travelers from the country.
The president of the Alicante Provincial Council, Carlos Mazón, and the director of the autonomous body, José Mancebo, will hold various meetings and work encounters at the ExCel exhibition center in London, especially focused on reinforcing the arrival of British visitors in the medium and long term, and convey the message that the Costa Blanca It is a safe destination, with anti-Covid protocols and health security, as reported by the provincial corporation in a statement.
This year, Costa Blanca attends, accompanied
by the municipalities of Altea and Guardamar del Segura, with the purpose of testing the sector at a key moment, after the lifting of air restrictions and the increase in connectivity and flight frequencies around the world.
The autonomous body of the Diputación de Alicante will have a counter, within the Valencian Community Tourism stand, from which it will give visibility to the sports, cultural, environmental, gastronomic and leisure offer of the province with the purpose of recovering the British market , providing a wide and functional workspace to the attending companies and entities. Likewise, Costa Blanca will be present at the virtual WTM fair,
on November 8 and 9, with virtual meetings arranged.
