Alibi Suzuki calls the Jimny door problem not a recall

Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) declares calling thousands of consumers to authorized repair shops for repairs Jimmy because the problem of door damage is not a campaign recall. SIS calls it a service campaign involving 1,540 Jimny units.

SIS has responded to Julian’s story and said the Jimny repair activity wasn’t recall, but rather a service campaign.

In an official statement, SIS also revealed that it was conducting a campaign recall Jimny, however for a different problem and for a much less number of units. Recall This is done because there is a potential for oil seepage in 21 Jimny units produced in May-June 2021.

Hariadi, Asst. to Service Dept. Head of SIS, said the company will contact all Jimny owners involved in the service or recall campaign to immediately visit an official workshop to get repairs.
