Alfaholics strikes again, giving new life to another model from the past of Alfa Romeo. This time the protagonist of the restomod by the British firm is an Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA 1300 Junior which underwent a regenerative cure, thanks to the GTA-R processing package. The timeless icon has been pampered by the skilled hands of Alfaholics, starting with a transformation under the skin, starting with the engine.
This Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA 1300 Junior has in fact been disassembled, starting with some elements of the chassis. The car was therefore equipped with a new 2.1 liter GTA-R engine with independent throttle bodies and a Motec ECU package. The first change thus involved power as the original GTA 1300 Junior models delivered 95 hp while thanks to the new engine, now the Giulia GTA 1300 Junior expresses 230 HP. A notable boost but the news and Alfaholics work did not stop there. The gearbox has been modified, with closer ratios and the suspension and braking system have also been updated with a six-piston system. The exterior restomod also included new 15-inch GTA wheels, LED headlights and a mesh grille behind the classic Alfa shield.
Some important innovations also for the interior of this Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA 1300 Junior, starting with the red leather upholstery, with sports seats. Then also updated the gearbox, the ventilation system, with adding a modern air conditioning system and the heated windshield. Vintage and modern are therefore intertwined on this model which still remains faithful to the original soul of Giulia GTA 1300 Junior, without upsetting the spirit, as has happened in some restomods that have electrified it.
