Each dream has a price and that of the very exclusive Giulia GTA reaches new heights since the Italian sedan is priced at € 171,600, and even peaks at € 176,400 for the GTAm. For this price, we still have a very exclusive machine inspired by the Giulia GTA of 1965 and having under its hood a 2.9 V6 block of 540 hp.
The Giulia GTA project was designed to offer a unique and exclusive level of personalization. In order to make this experience even more exclusive, the Italian brand’s Centro Stile has developed dedicated liveries, recalling the brand’s unique history. Addressing the Alfists and fans of the firm in Biscione (the famous symbol of the snake that is found on the logo of the brand but also on the coat of arms of the Visconti of Milan), the new Giulia GTA is also aimed at enthusiasts of piloting on circuit.
Inspired by the Giulia GTA from 1965 developed by Autodelta on the basis of the Giulia Sprint GT, the new GTA is based on the Giulia Quadrifoglio and is equipped with a more powerful version of the twin-turbo Alfa Romeo 2.9 V6 engine which now reaches 540 ch. Thanks to the intensive use of ultra-light materials, it benefits from a weight reduction of up to 100 kg compared to the Giulia Quadrifoglio, reaching a weight / power ratio of 2.82 kg / hp.
For the 500 future happy owners of this limited series of Giulia GTA and GTAm, Alfa Romeo also wanted to propose a “project within the project”, making the Giulia GTA a unique car to experience. For the occasion, Alfa Romeo offers several colorful liveries reminiscent of the brand’s former glory.
We now know the prices for France of the two versions: € 171,600 for the GTA and € 176,400 for the GTAm, which stands out for its racing treatment with the removal of the rear seat, a lighter cockpit, bucket seats with harness or another specific anti-roll bar …). The price seems indeed high, but hey it’s a bit the price of exclusivity. All info is on the official website of the brand alfaromeo.com
