One of the essential requirements is to have an Amazon Echo

The application Alexa, the well-known Amazon digital assistant, has officially reached the Microsoft Store on Xbox, this means that users will be able to use voice commands to control the console: turn it on, turn it off, start a game, pause a game, between other things.
To use the wizard it will be necessary to have a Microsoft account and have a compatible console such as the series Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. It is worth mentioning that another of the essential requirements is to have a Echo from Amazon to be able to pair the speaker with the console and thus use the voice assistant.
Voice commands that are available on Xbox include the following:
- “Alexa, turn Xbox on / off”
- “Alexa, launch on Xbox”
- “Alexa, what’s new in Game Pass”
- “Alexa, abre Netflix en Xbox”
- “Alexa, tell Xbox to stop / resume”
- “Alexa, tell Xbox to record this”
- “Alexa, ask Xbox is online?”
- “Alexa, play on Xbox”
- “Alexa, show me the front door camera.”
- “Alexa, show me my email”
- “Alexa, show me my calendar”
- “Alexa, show me the time”
Additionally, Microsoft is testing the xCloud cloud gaming feature to make it easier for PC and smartphone users to play anytime, from any device. Alexa is a good alternative now that Cortana is increasingly removed from the Xbox ecosystem.
