Aldi announces the start of sales via app: discounters are introducing cheap masks into their range

If you shouldn’t get a mask from Aldi Süd anymore, you can check out archrival Lidl.

This discount chain also includes mouth masks. For the 50-pack, the discounter primus requires 33 euros.

A total of 14 million disposable masks went on sale. Lidl confirmed that stocks were sold out in many places. However, copies still seem to be available in some branches. At Lidl, only one pack of mouth masks is given per customer and purchase.

Customers who enter the market at dm without a mask receive a mask at the entrance for the price of one euro. A regular sale seems to be difficult in view of the high demand and should start later.

Rossmann has been selling mouth and nose covers in many branches since the middle of this week. The drugstore giant also speaks of a “great demand”.

In some branches of the supermarket chain Hit Markt and at the self-service giant Real mouth masks also appeared. The 20-pack was available in a Munich hit store for around 15 euros.

Rewe and Penny also launched corresponding promotions. Here, too, the demand is very high.
