A great artistic surprise revealed by the Egyptian poet and author Ayman Bahjat Qamar, represented in the revival of the work “My Beautiful Lady” presented by the late Fouad Al-Mohandes and Shweikar, and written by Bahjat Qamar, the father of the lyric poet.
The new show stars Ahmed El-Sakka, Reem Mustafa, Mohamed Abdel-Rahman and Alaa Morsi, and is expected to screen on December 6, during the Riyadh season.
A clear case of controversy caused by that news, some reject this adventure, and adhere to the original text that was presented and achieved a great success with the public, while others are betting on the renewal and are eager to see the new text and what will be presented on stage.
Ayman Bahjat Qamar commented that passage in statements to the media with journalist Sherif Amer, as a risk, while commenting: “We play with electricity”, indicating that he has the ability to present a pure novel of his authorship, but there is a great concern he has because of his children and the younger generation who did not look at the works that were presented in the time of black and white.
Therefore, its re-release of classic works will be beneficial to the art movement in the beginning, and the recipient will see strong and unrepeatable works, revealing some exclusive scenes of this play, including the disappearance of part of the main opening song of the show.
He has indicated that he is looking to revive old songs from the show and redistribute them again, after getting permission from the owners.
And speaking of what was reported on a comparison with senior professors, Ayman Bahgat Qamar confirmed that there is no comparison with adults because this is unfair to the current generation, and there is an artistic vision that is progressing for the present tense.
He revealed Ahmed El-Sakka’s extreme enthusiasm for presenting the current text, explaining that the old play was presented in 4 hours, but he presents the new text in just two hours, emphasizing that he is doing the thing because this is the his role towards his father’s legacy.
Ayman Bahjat Qamar, in his interview with the Egyptian journalist Sherif Amer, did not address the criticisms leveled against him, but commented on them through “Facebook”, where he took advantage of the defense of the work by the writer Amr Mahmoud Yassin and the reply to the criticisms made.
Ayman Bahgat Qamar wrote back to him, pointing out that these criticisms created free publicity for the show before it was shown, and promised his colleague to be the first to watch when the show was shown in Egypt.
