Resilience. This is the first observation that was made after the Supervisory Board of the Al Omrane Group was held. Despite this conjuncture marked by the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, the members of the board welcomed the commitment and the resilience shown by the Group in times of crisis, reports Today Morocco in its edition of 1is July.

In detail, the board stood at the start of the week to validate the balance sheet for 2019 and the action plan for 2020. In this sense, the Group is working in concert with the Ministry of Habitat to ensure the progressive and secure revival of priority public works sites of the ministry for which it is responsible for nearly 85% and which represent 1/3 of its activity. The action plan for the year 2020, adapted to the historic Covid-19 context, was reviewed in close consultation with the Ministry and in accordance with government guidelines.

Concretely, the investment should reach 3.78 billion dirhams, without forgetting the start of construction of 15,945 new production units and 76,561 urban upgrading units. Similarly, the plan provides for the completion of 19,335 new production units, of which 1,879 in the framework of partnerships and 95,774 urban upgrading units, in addition to the creation of 32,781 land titles. Turnover should meanwhile, despite the crisis, exceed 3 billion dirhams.

“In terms of its policy of managerial reforms, the Al Omrane group will complete in 2020 and in an always collegial approach, the construction of its new five-year vision 2021-2025, drawing inspiration from the successful experience of the previous one, called CAP 2020 and which is at 98% of completion rate six months from its term ”, specifies the management of the group. He added: “This initiative aims to be fully in line with the new development model initiated by His Majesty the King, taking into account the lessons and specifics of the health crisis experienced by the country, the sector and the Group” .

Regarding the results for the year 2019, the Al Omrane Group, despite the difficult economic conditions that the sector has been going through for several years, was able to record satisfactory performances. “This is how the investment reached more than 4.5 billion dirhams which enabled the start of construction of 17,492 new production units, including 2,036 in partnership with private developers and 115,128 urban upgrading units. Completions amounted to 22,449 new production units, including 2,760 with private developers and 91,178 urban upgrading units. Turnover, for its part, reached 4.570 billion dirhams and 29.334 land titles could have been created, ”we learn from officials. “The Al Omrane Group, which is present throughout Morocco with its regional companies and its 56 provincial agencies, has consolidated its territorial roots by finalizing its adaptation to the new division, following the merger of the subsidiary companies of Fès and Meknès and the creation of a new subsidiary company for the Draa-Tafilalet region ”, concludes the same source.
