Farouk Jafar, the former coach of Zamalek, responded to some reiterating that Al-Ahly will face the young Pyramids to give the latter the opportunity to achieve second place in the league at the expense of the White Castle.

It is decided that 3 points will be deducted from Zamalek immediately after the end of the league, due to its withdrawal against Al-Ahly in the summit match in the first round of the league.
Farouk Jaafar said in televised statements on “Zamalek”: “It is not possible for Al-Ahly to do that, nor for Zamalek at all.”
He continued: “History only remembers the team that won and who lost. The principles and values of these clubs do not allow this.”
He concluded: “It is not correct to say these words. This is what I understand and know.”
Al-Ahly will play Pyramids on Sunday in the penultimate round of the league.
It is noteworthy that the football team in Zamalek ranks second with 65 points, ahead of Pyramids, who is third, by two points, knowing that Zamalek will deduct 3 points from it, as mentioned earlier.
