Akatsuki Station discovered mysterious phenomenon on Venus

The Akatsuki interplanetary station made a unique find on the neighboring planet Venus. In its atmosphere, a giant structure with a length of 7,500 km was found, which is a wall of clouds. This giant is moving along the equator of the planet at a speed of 320 km / h. The press service of the Japan Space Agency (JAXA) informed about this. Planetologist Javier Peralta pointed out that this atmospheric phenomenon is a new meteorological phenomenon that has no analogues on any other planet.

“For this reason, we cannot yet give it a physical interpretation. On the other hand, we are confident that this Akatsuki discovery will help us uncover the mystery of the current appearance of Venus, “the scientist explained.

Venus is both like and not like Earth. There is about the same gravity, but its surface is dominated by temperatures in excess of 500 degrees Celsius, and the superdense atmosphere consists of carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid. The air shell rotates 60 times faster than the surface of Venus itself, hence the wind force of 500 km / h. Such conditions give rise to mysterious phenomena. Until now, the mystery of the giant letter Y from the clouds discovered in the 1960s has not been fully solved.
