Ajax gives season card holders money back in duels without an audience NOW

In the coming year, Ajax will give money to its season ticket holders for every match that must be played without an audience. The Amsterdam club starts on Tuesday with the sale of season tickets.

Due to the corona crisis, it is still unclear when the public will be admitted to professional football again. This will probably not be the case until a vaccine against the virus has been developed.

“We have decided that season ticket holders can choose to get a refund for every game they have to miss because of the rules regarding the corona virus,” Ajax writes on its website

“It is 1 / 17th of the purchase price of the season ticket per game and if we play without fans all season, you are entitled to a refund of the entire purchase amount.”

Ajax keeps prices stable

On Tuesday, people who had a season ticket last year can renew it. The remaining tickets will go on sale on July 1. Ajax has decided not to increase the prices of the season tickets.

The team from Amsterdam was the leader in the Eredivisie by goal balance, when it had to be shut down in March because of the corona virus. The KNVB decided not to appoint a national champion, but Ajax was entitled as number one to the first Champions League ticket.
