After clashes with India on the border, China is now fighting again with Taiwan.
The bad news is that China’s relations are heating up with Taiwan after information emerged that America would really help Taiwan if the island was attacked.

A former senior Taiwanese security official warned the country to be vigilant and not to expect too much.
In the latest incident, according to the Japanese defense ministry, two PLA bombers Xian H-6 briefly approached the Taiwanese air defense identification zone from the east on Sunday after flying from the East China Sea via the Miyako Strait between the Japanese islands of Okinawa and Miyakojima.
As such, it was the 10th attack by a PLA fighter last month and the 16th of this year.

Quoting South China Morning Post, observers say the existence of the Chinese aircraft was intended to train and be ready to attack in the future.
This step also sent a warning to the US not to support the island.
In response to the recent PLA attack, the US has also sent many fighters.

Taiwan’s defense ministry stresses that they have full control over movements in the air and sea around Taiwan and called on people to remain calm.
However, Su Chi, former secretary general of Taiwan’s National Security Council, said he was concerned about the current situation.
“Given the military imbalance between Taiwan and China, there is no cross-strait dialogue and there is no (efficient communication) mechanism between the US and the mainland.”

“I am worried about this situation because anything can happen,” Su told South China Morning Post.
Su also said he was very concerned about Taiwan’s defense measures recently proposed by senator Josh Hawley, saying it might give the island authorities false hopes about the possibility of the US coming to rescue them.
Earlier, Taiwanese Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang said that China was better focused on fighting the new corona virus that had revived in Beijing than “disrupting” Taiwan with military exercises near the island which China claimed as its territory.
According to the Taiwanese military, Chinese Air Force warplanes and bombers have closed up Taiwan’s air defense identification zone at least eight times in the past two weeks.
“China is huge, and has never stopped using force to deal with Taiwan.”

“China always, with such a serious epidemic, sending their planes and ships around Taiwan, really disturbs Taiwan,” Su said.
He added, Taiwan only wanted to be a contributor to regional peace.
“Right now, it seems like a second wave is taking place in Beijing.”

“China, as a large country, must put its national strength in protecting people, reducing the impact of epidemics, and maintaining regional peace.”
