The first of the two aircraft, the PH-BFV, put the wheels on the Polderbaan for the last time a little after five. The aircraft, which came from Shanghai, made a fly-by over Schiphol shortly before.
Spotters who came to look at the device had to do so at some distance: for fear that they would not keep a sufficient distance, both the official spotters’ place and the approximately 3.5 kilometer long cycle path next to the Polderbaan were closed as a precaution by order of Mayor Marianne Schuurmans.
