AirAsia Indonesia Showcases New Aircraft, Airbus A320 PK-AZQ, Let’s See!

AirAsia Indonesia recently the arrival of a new aircraft, Airbus 320 PK-AZQ. This inaugural aircraft in 2023 has a cool appearance. Let’s see!

In 2019, AirAsia Indonesia operates with 28 units of aircraft. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of aircraft in operation has decreased and in 2022 the company operates with only 16 aircraft.

in 2023, AirAsia Indonesia also added to the number of their fleet by bringing in the Airbus A320 PK-AZQ aircraft. The addition of this fleet aims to enliven the domestic aviation market and provide even better service for passengers.

“This is a very happy day for us at AirAsia Indonesia, the arrival of the PK-AZQ aircraft marks our commitment to provide even better service and provide the best flight experience for passengers,” said Veranita Yosephine, Chief Executive Officer AirAsia Indonesia in his statement, Monday (23/1/2023).

“This year, we ensure that AirAsia Indonesia will bring in additional aircraft units so that our total aircraft fleet exceeds the total fleet in 2019,” he said.

As the COVID-19 pandemic situation is getting under control and the PPKM has been lifted, the aviation world is getting excited again.

Data from PT Angkasa Pura I (AP I) shows that during 2022 the number of airplane passengers reached more than 52 million people, an increase of 84% compared to 2021 which only recorded nearly 28.5 million passengers.

AirAsia Indonesia also plans to add their domestic flight routes in 2023. AirAsia will continue to be consistent in adding and expanding connectivity by opening other new routes that are of interest to passengers.

AirAsia is now back in various cities in Indonesia and connecting Indonesia to several neighboring countries.

Air Asia continues to urge customers who will be traveling to implement health protocols, by fulfilling travel requirements according to the latest provisions set by the government.
