The AI/ML Software Engineer 2 will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions, from research and development to deployment and maintenance. key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML models and algorithms; building and maintaining robust ML pipelines and infrastructure; performing rigorous model testing, validation, and interpretability analysis to ensure accuracy, fairness, and reliability; and staying current with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and deep learning.Documentation of technical designs, code, and experimental results is also a critical component of the role, alongside contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous learning and best practices.
Core Requirements:
Candidates must possess a solid theoretical understanding of core AI and Machine Learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and common ML algorithms. Proficiency in Python is essential,alongside experience with popular ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow,PyTorch,Scikit-learn,Pandas,and NumPy.Familiarity with data manipulation,analysis,and visualization techniques is also required.
Beyond technical skills, Dell is seeking individuals with demonstrated problem-solving abilities – the capacity to break down complex challenges and propose innovative AI/ML-driven solutions. Adaptability to a fast-paced enterprise setting and a willingness to learn new technologies are also crucial. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ideal candidates Will Have:
Dell is seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience, in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field with a strong emphasis on AI/ML.
While not required, experience in AI/ML within an enterprise or large-scale data environment is highly desirable. Experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD for ML) and knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) are also considered beneficial. Software development experience in C/C++ is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
