The world of The Mandalorian is expanded by two more series. As Lucasfilm announced at the Disney investor presentation, two spin-offs for the Star Wars series are in the works.

The first offshoot was suspected repeatedly in advance and has now been officially confirmed. It’s a series that will focus on Ahsoka Tano. The series bears the simple name Ahsoka and again shows Rosario Dawson in the eponymous role. Dave Filoni, who is also responsible for the recently published Ahsoka Tano episode of The Mandalorian staged. Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau is on board as a producer.

The second series that the world of The Mandlorian should expand, bears the name Rangers of the New Republic. The information is still limited here. What is known is that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are also involved as producers in this project.

Both series should cross paths with The Mandalorian again and again. In addition, a big story event is planned to bring the characters from all three series together. So far, there are no concrete details.
