Ahsan/Hendra Pamit from Thomas Cup, Men’s Doubles Players Are Not Ready

Bangkok

After Indonesia became runner-up Thomas Cup 2022, Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan goodbye. They call it his last appearance in the Thomas Cup.

Indonesia had to settle for being runner-up in the 2022 Thomas Cup after losing to India in the final. In the match at the Impact Arena, Bangkok, Sunday (15/5/2022) afternoon WIB, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting et al. lost 0-3.

That means Indonesia failed to defend the Thomas Cup title it won last year. The 2020 Thomas Cup, which was only held in Denmark in October 2021, due to the pandemic, was won by Indonesia after beating China 3-0 in the final.

After the match, Ahsan said goodbye on his social media. The badminton player from Palembang was grateful for the trust given by PBSI.
