President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok disclose detailed reasons for facility deletion kartu kredit board of directors, commissioners, and company managers.
Ahok said the deletion was done to save the company’s expenses.
“The policy is for savings only. The Astra group is so large that there is no company credit card facility,” he explained to CNNIndonesia.com via instant message, Tuesday (15/6).
The former governor of DKI Jakarta said that credit card facilities had been given to Pertamina officials for a long time. Unfortunately, he did not specify when the facility was provided.
He said the abolition of credit cards could save Pertamina’s expenses. Because the limit given by the company is quite large.
“What I got for me as a Komut with a limit of Rp. 30 billion,” he said.
Previously, Ahok revealed that the company would remove credit card facilities for the board of directors, commissioners, and managers.
This decision is one of the points agreed at the general meeting of shareholders (GMS) on Monday (14/6). He ensured that this decision had been approved by all parties, from the board of directors to the commissioners, no one rejected the proposal to abolish credit card facilities.
“Verbally, the board of commissioners (board of commissioners) and the board of directors did not object at the GMS or reject the proposal to remove corporate credit cards,” said Ahok
Not only internal ranks, Ahok said that the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, had also given a green sign for the plan to abolish the credit card.
“It’s an operational technique. In principle, the Minister agrees, but because the GMS is represented by a power of attorney, it’s not specific to agree,” he concluded.
