ahnet, who became the most adored actor in the USSR

The artist has left his competitors far behind.

Soviet cinema presented the audience with a huge number of legendary projects with truly talented actors. Many of them became huge stars boasting an army of fans.

In those days, fans had only one means of communication with their favorite artist – a paper letter. Such messages came in batches to the movie studios. No official calculation has been made as to who received the most messages from viewers, but some information has surfaced.

For example, Vladimir Korenev’s colleagues claim that it was he who was able to claim the title of the most adored actor in the USSR. He is best known for the film Amphibian Man. Often on his envelopes they wrote “Moscow, Korenev”, or even more simply “Ikhtiandr”. Surprisingly, this didn’t stop the letters from reaching their recipient in the slightest.

Also, many messages came to Vyacheslav Tikhonov, especially after the premiere of the film “Seventeen Moments of Moscow”. However, neither he nor Korenev could even dream of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan’s success.

The media write that it was he who entered the Guinness Book of Records as the most often filmed actor in Soviet cinema. Statistics say that the artist played more than 250 roles, this could not but bear fruit from him. The public fell in love with Armen Borisovich – pictures with his participation are still gladly reviewed.
