Despite this period of health and economic uncertainty linked to the coronavirus pandemic, Samsung continues to announce many products. The Galaxy A range of 2020 is completed by the Galaxy 01 and Galaxy A21, two very different smartphones.
We already knew him, but we now know its price in the United States. Here is a smartphone that continues to expand this Galaxy A range, with a 5.7 inch diagonal screen with HD + definition. As you can see, it has a “notch” in the form of a drop of water, it is certainly one of the latest products from Samsung with this type of design. We do not really know how it is compared to the Galaxy M range, including the Galaxy M21 and M31 have been formalized not long ago.

Unlike the Galaxy A11 which defends itself rather well, the Galaxy A01 is an entry level smartphone: with this positioning, Samsung does not even communicate the reference of the SoC used. We only know that it is an eight-core ARM SoC, four at 1.95 GHz and four at 1.45 GHz. A priori, it would be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439. To accompany it only 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage via microSD. Despite this small configuration, the Galaxy A01 has two rear cameras: a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel deep camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh, without fast charging. At this price, no fingerprint sensor … it will therefore be necessary to secure your smartphone with only an access code (old-style).
For the moment, no formalization in Europe, the Galaxy 01 will be available in Asia and America. Its price at the time of the announcement is 109 dollars, or less than 100 euros HT.

Much more armed, the Galaxy A21 has a 6.5 inch diagonal Super AMOLED screen with HD + definition and the Infinity-O format with the hole in the screen in the upper left corner. Again, Samsung does not specify the SoC, it is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The battery is 4000 mAh this time has fast charging 15 Watts.

The main change from previous models is at the camera level, where it has four rear cameras: a 16-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera for ultra-wide angle, as well as a 2 megapixel sensor for depth and a camera dedicated to the 2 megapixel macro. For a product displayed at only 250 dollars (around 230 euros HT), the Galaxy A21 seems relatively well supplied with components. Obviously, competition from Xiaomi does not really leave the choice to Samsung, especially in the Redmi range.
