Today, Saturday, the Western Health Directorate announced the death of two cases, “a man and a woman,” infected with the Coronavirus, inside the isolation of Zefta General Hospital, as a result of their deteriorating health.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Hamida, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Al Gharbia, said that an urgent committee had been formed to examine Zefta General Hospital and determine the health status there.
The Undersecretary indicated that the hospital’s intensive care rooms contain 13 cases of Corona patients, 6 of them on a ventilator.
Hamida added that the hospital has 13 oxygen cylinders of a large size “reserve” for the hospital’s network in case the oxygen pumping vehicle is delayed, and that the oxygen network at Zefta General Hospital is new and is in excellent condition .. he said.
