After the Braking System, Quartararo Experienced Another Problem Ahead of the 2020 MotoGP Styria: Okezone Sports

SPIELBERG – Petronas Yamaha SRT racer, Fabio Quartararo, achieved poor results in qualifying MotoGP Styria 2020. The French rider only finished 10th in the qualifying which took place at the Spielberg Circuit, Saturday, August 22, 2020 yesterday.

After previously being constrained by the braking system, Quartararo experienced another problem in the qualifying session. The racer who won the two races earlier this season felt he did not have a good enough grip on the back of his bike.

“It’s not that great because we don’t have good grip on the rear wheels and we don’t have the top speed because of it,” said Quartararao, as quoted from the Speedweek page, Sunday (23/8/2020).

“But I’m happy with FP4 because we made steps at a bad pace yesterday. The FP4 is good, even on used tires. Too bad we actually lost our rhythm in the qualifying session, “he continued.

“Let’s see what we can do tomorrow. It’s really not easy to overtake on this track because we know there will be a lot of fast bikes, “continued the Franco Morbidelli teammate.

“Starting from 9th on the grid is not the best. I will of course give 100 percent to be there and fight for good results, “he said again.

Despite starting the race from a disadvantageous position, Quartararo didn’t want to just give up on the race later. He claims he will try to appear more aggressive in order to compete in the front ranks.

The podium is also Quartararo’s main target in this fifth series. Because, if you fail to get points, it is not impossible that their position as leader of the standings will be shifted by Andrea Dovizioso (Missiin Winnow Ducati).

Moreover, Dovizioso himself has a pretty good record at the Red Bull Ring Circuit. He proved this by winning the championship podium at the Austrian MotoGP 2020 last weekend.
