Amira Bouraoui was released on bail this Thursday, July 2 by the Tipaza Court of Appeal, lawyers say, dont Me Mostefa Bouchachi, and the National Committee for the Release of Prisoners (CNLD).
Sentenced on June 21 to a year in prison, the political activist was to be tried on appeal this Thursday, but the Court decided to postpone the trial until September 24, 2020, while granting the request for provisional release made by the defense.
She should leave the prison of Koléa this afternoon, as well as Karim Tabbou who also benefited in the morning from a provisional release after nearly ten months of detention.
