Apparel Indonesian National team, Mills Sport, launched the third jersey. This is the third alternative jersey for Garuda squad after 22 years.
The third jersey is predominantly black with a large Garuda pattern that adorns most of the front. This jersey also looks elegant with the use of a collar at the neck.
There is an apparel logo patch on the right to the Garuda logo on the left using gold accents. Gold also adorns the underside of the sleeves and collar.
“On the front we provide the Garuda Pancasila design behind which there is a pentagon shield which means the five precepts of the Pancasila, with the hope that our players can be confident and have an identity to defend Garuda to fly higher,” said Mills CEO, Tjiao Kong Hou, during a press conference session, Tuesday (17/11/2020).
“This third costume we carry a black color with a gold combination. We chose the black color because the sport and gold trend symbolizes our hope for PSSI to give birth to a golden generation in our current national team,” he added.
This is the first time Indonesian National team have a third alternative jersey after being sidelined for 22 years. The last time the Indonesian national team had a third jersey was in 1998.
For example, when Nike was still a PSSI partner, it only provided two alternative jersey for the Indonesian national team. Namely the dominant red main jersey and the dominant white jersey with a little green color for the second jersey.
“This is the third time the Indonesian national team has launched a jersey. The first is red (home), the second is white combined with green (away), and now the third after 22 years we have a third jersey with black and gold,” said PSSI Chairman Mochamad. Envy.
“On behalf of the Chairman of the Federation, I would like to thank you because I am proud of you. Because this is a shirt made in Indonesia and secondly whatever PSSI asks is always fulfilled.”
In addition, a third jersey for goalkeepers was also launched Indonesian National team in yellow and a different design with the outfield player’s uniform. Another difference from the goalkeeper’s third jersey is the absence of the Garuda style, but instead uses the distinctive pattern of Mills Sport itself.
