With the recent efforts of the investigation team to reopen the case, gather information about it and listen to the statements of some people close to them, the investigators have come to some conclusions, including:

• The victim’s brother participated in the murder after forcing her to drink a large amount of alcohol narcotic pills.

• One of them was arrested and the other was circulated to be out of the country.

Al-Sartawi confirmed this "Expanding the investigation with his brother arrested, he admitted his participation with his brother in the crime of 20 years ago, following personal quarrels.".

He said that he and his brother took the victim out of the house and forced her to take a large amount of narcotic pills until she died, after which they tied her in chains and put her body in an iron barrel on a ferry in the Sweileh area.

Al-Sartawi continued: "The other brother was circulated after it became clear that he was out of the country, while the Prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court was informed of the case and referred it to him.".
