After 2 years, Chelsea are again (for a while?) At the top of the Premier League | Premier League 2020/2021

  1. 45 ‘- Yellow – Jacob Murphy
  2. 39 ‘- Yellow – Isaac Hayden
  3. 10 ‘- Own goal – Federico Fernández (0 – 1)
  1. 87 ‘- Cont. Hakim Ziyech by Olivier Giroud
  2. 82 ‘- Cont. Ben Chilwell by Emerson Palmieri
  3. 76′ – Verv. Timo Werner door Callum Hudson-Odoi
  4. 74 ‘- Cont. Allan Saint-Maximin by Andy Carroll
  5. 66 ‘- Verv. Javier Manquillo door Miguel Almirón
  6. 65 ‘- Goal – Tammy Abraham (0 – 2)

Chelsea have seized power in England on the Newcastle field. The team from London took the win after an unfortunate own goal by Fernandez and a goal by Abraham. The three points put Chelsea in the lead in the standings and that was already from 2018.

Chelsea is already the 7th club to lead the rankings this season. Frank Lampard’s team started dominantly on a visit to Newcastle. Under pressure from Chilwell, Fernandes pushed a ball past his own goalkeeper after ten minutes.

A nice gift for Chelsea that failed to increase the score further. Timo Werner messed up a number of great opportunities. After half time, the home team bounced back for a while, but Abraham’s goal after the hour put the game in a decisive fold. Werner also scored in the end, but was flagged for offside.

It is the third victory in a row for the Londoners. They jump to the top of the rankings. But there are still several teams that can take over the crown again this day.
