To respond to a need that is increasingly present on the national market, Afriquia, the national operator specialized in the distribution of fuel and liquefied petroleum gas, butane and propane wants to pass at mobile payments in its service stations.

Afriquia SMDC, Afriquia Gaz, Togo, Oasis Café, Mini-Brahim, and all the Gas distributors (Allo Gas and grocery stores) will now be able to accept this mode of mobile payment services. For the group, this new way of payment reference allows users to pay for their purchases easily and safely from a mobile phone.

This solution is adopted by more and more users and it has many advantages in perfect adequacy with the new hygiene standards in force.

The mobile payment in these formats is simplified. To qualify, the client must have a M-Wallet (e-wallet) with an operator a banking or a establishment of mobile payment such as Attijari Pay or even Jibi (Wafacash). It will also indicate to the staff the mode of payment and complete the transaction by bringing the smartphone to the electronic payment terminal.

According to the director general of Afriquia SMDC, Said El Baghdadi, Afriquia will be the first oil moroccan to implement mobile payment at the service station, “and we’re proud of”, he added quite happy with this progress. Pursuing the explanations, Tawfiq Hamoumi, deputy general manager of Afriquia Gas maintains that the group has made a point of honor to offer its clientele products and services in tune with the evolving needs of the market, or even to anticipate them. “That is why we are also excited to be the forerunners in our domain of activity”, has he supported.
