“Solidarity with Africa is not at all new for the Kingdom of Morocco and for HM King Mohammed VI who always continues to support African countries in all forums but also through projects and other forms of support “Said AU Commissioner Amani Abou-Zeid in a statement to MAP expressing gratitude to HM the King for the medical aid granted to the African Union Commission and to several brotherly African countries for accompanying them in their efforts to fight Covid-19.
“Once again, Morocco sets an example of African solidarity which is ultimately the main mission of the AU: African integration and solidarity between the countries of the continent”, welcomed the Commissioner of the Union.
She also praised the actions of the national company Royal Air Maroc, which provided medical aid to neighboring African countries.
“As Commissioner of Air Transport in Africa, I also salute Royal Air Maroc for this highly appreciated gesture because I know very well the very difficult situation for all our airlines in Africa and around the world,” said Amani Abou Zeid who said she was confident about the capacity of the African continent to overcome this crisis and guarantee a better future for its citizens.
