Some digital advertising agencies have advised clients to support the initiative. The largest advertisers have not yet massively agreed to this. However, Unilever on Friday already announced the suspension of the placement of American ads on Facebook and Twitter until the end of the year. Last year, according to Pathmatics, Unilever spent $ 42.3 million on Facebook ads in the United States. On the same day, Facebook and Twitter shares fell by more than 8 and 7%, respectively, by the close of trading.
