Adobe Launches AI Agents to Accelerate B2B Sales, cisco Tests New Tech
SAN JOSE, CA – October 12, 2023 – Adobe today announced the release of three new AI-powered agents – Audience Agent, Journey Agent, and Data Insights Agent – integrated directly into its Experience Cloud platform. The tools are designed to shorten lengthy decision-making processes common in enterprise B2B sales cycles.
The Audience Agent identifies key personnel within prospective customer organizations. The Journey Agent then crafts personalized marketing campaigns across multiple channels, while the Data Insights Agent facilitates strategy optimization through conversational data analysis.
Network technology leader cisco is currently piloting the new AI agents, with Brett Rafuse, Cisco‘s vice president of demand marketing, anticipating a significant reduction in time spent identifying decision-makers and closing deals.
This launch builds upon Adobe’s Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator, introduced in September, which centrally manages AI agents from various providers. The move comes as Adobe faces competition from emerging AI-native platforms and seeks to demonstrate the return on its substantial investment in artificial intelligence.
Despite recent quarterly revenue exceeding expectations at $5.99 billion, investor confidence remains cautious regarding the monetization of new AI features. Adobe is leveraging its extensive customer data sets as a key competitive advantage, especially within the complex landscape of B2B sales.
Further details regarding Adobe’s AI strategy are expected to be unveiled at Adobe MAX, taking place october 28th in Los Angeles.
