At least two people were killed in violence on Saturday in Divo, a locality 200 km northwest of Abidjan. This is in the wake of the inauguration of President Alassane Dramane Ouattara as a candidate for a third term, hospital and local sources said on Sunday.
“A person evacuated to the CHR (Regional Hospital Center) succumbed to his injuries (…) this (Sunday) morning“, A hospital source told AFP, reporting“several serious injuries with machetes“.

Confirmation of death
This death was confirmed by a local source. A teenager died in the fire on Saturday in a bush bar, according to several residents.
