Ado den Haag rents Ilay Elmkies next season from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim. The 20-year-old midfielder already made his debut at the highest level in Germany and already has international matches behind his name.
ADO confirms this via official channels. Elmkies made his debut in the first team of Hoffenheim in March of this year and is seen as a great talent. He must be in the Eredivisie play minutes to develop further.
Elmkies has played four times for the national team of Israel to date. Earlier this month, he was very important to his country: in the Nations League game with Slovakia, he came on the field in the 71st minute and equalized in the injury time of the game.
Elmkies is rented by ADO for one season. The midfielder has been playing in the youth academy of Hoffenheim from the age of fifteen.
