Adjusted starting grid Formula 1 GP Russia 2020

Max Verstappen managed to outsmart Valtteri Bottas during qualifying for the Grand Prix of Russia. By setting a smart, fast lap, he was just faster than the Finn, who, like the Dutchman, will start on the medium tire. Lewis Hamilton starts from pole position, but does so on the soft tire, after the chaotic second part of qualifying.

The rest of the top ten also start on the soft belt. Sergio Perez could call himself the best of the rest and will start next to Bottas on the second row on Sunday. Behind him we find Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz. Alexander Albon (tenth qualified, fifteenth after penalty), Charles Leclerc (eleventh), Sebastian Vettel (fifteenth) and Kimi Raikkonen (twentieth) disappointed.

Albon and Nicholas Latifi have both received a five-place grid penalty for changing a gearbox before it has completed six races.

Check out the full starting grid below.
