Adiputro’s Bintang Timur AKAP Bus ‘Injected’ ADAS and Blackbox Technology

Hundreds of buses made by Adiputro and Tentrem bodies will be injected with advanced technology including ADAS, Blackbox, and parking cameras. The technology package produced by PT Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa (TKDN) can prevent drivers from committing violations and mistakes when the bus is operating.

TKDN signed an MoU with several bus body manufacturers, namely PT Adiputro Wirasejati (Adiputro) and PT Tentrem Sejahtera Karoseri (Tentrem).

The President Director of TKDN, David Santoso, signed an MoU (cooperation) with the President Director of Tentrem, Yohan Wahyudi and the Director of Adiputro, David Jethrokusumo at their respective head offices located in Malang City. The contents of the MoU are related to cooperation in the use of IoT devices (TKDN Advance Mobility or TAM Fleet) in bus units produced by Adiputro and Tentrem bodies.

“This collaboration targets 100 IoT TAM Fleet hardware units to be installed in the Adiputro bus fleet, including 30 buses for AKAP PO Bintang Timur and also installed in 50 fleet units belonging to the Tentrem body. again, as well as with other latest technological systems to promote safe transportation,” said TKDN President Director, David Santoso.

The IoT TAM Fleet tool used for Adiputro’s fleet, namely MDVR, CCTV, Driver Safety Monitoring (DSM), Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Rearcam and Blackbox. The IoT and AI technology used by PT TKDN in its devices such as Driver Safety Monitoring (DSM), can provide Driver Behavior Analysis to monitor driver behavior so as not to commit violations while the fleet is operating, for example using a cellphone while driving, smoking or falling asleep. Even more sophisticated, the ADAS device is claimed to be able to provide an early warning if the bus fleet has been detected deviating from the lane, crossing the speed limit, or in the event of a potential head-on collision.

Adiputro Director, David Jethrokusumo said that he will continue to be committed to encouraging the company’s quality improvement, one of which is by bringing the latest technology in every bus unit they make.

Likewise, the President Director of Tentrem, Yohan Wahyudi, said, “Providing the best service through the provision of high-tech and high-quality components is one way to increase customer satisfaction, which is our main target.”
