The celebrity did not like the scenery, so she allegedly refused to host her first live show in five years.

British pop singer Adele previously canceled her live performances in Las Vegas, citing the coronavirus, but now another reason for the show’s collapse has become known. This is reported Daily Star.

The media refers to an insider and writes that the artist’s performances fell through just a few hours before the start due to the scandal. Adele allegedly refused to take part in the stunt.

According to an insider, she was supposed to sing in the middle of a huge pool, which they planned to draw water into while raising a star on a crane mechanism, in order to create the illusion that she was floating on water. However, having looked at the scenery at the last moment, she compared them with an old pond.

“When she saw the finished design, she refused to take part. Adele described the pool as a ‘baggy old pond’ and flatly refused to stand in the middle of it,” the insider added.

Recall that earlier Adele posted a video on social networks, in which she tearfully announced the cancellation of the live performance. This was the first time such a concert had been held since 2017. The singer said that half of her team caught the coronavirus.
