ADAPT project, the Secretary of State in charge of disabled people visiting the Pôle St Hélier

Within the framework of ADAPT project d’Interreg France (Manche) England, Emilie Leblong (Pole Saint Hélier) and Marie Babel (INSA Rennes) welcomed Mrs Cluzel, French Secretary of State for People with Disabilities at the Saint-Hélier Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, Rennes.
This visit was an opportunity to present how the technology of smart wheelchair and his virtual reality driving simulator benefit patients with difficulty in mobility.

Accompanied by Mr. Gaël Le Bohec, Member of Parliament forIlle-et-Vilaine, and Dr Phillipe Denormandie, eminent specialist in improving theaccess to healthcare for people with disabilities, Ms. Cluzel visited the center, met patients and learned about ADAPT’s cutting edge technology.
