“She was a great and beautiful man”

In an interview with PAP, actress Barbara Horawianka recalled that Traczykna “wanted to live again, enjoyed every green leaf she looked at in the spring”. – I was supposed to leave first, that was the deal. What she feared the most happened to her – said the actress.

– She was a wonderful, wonderful and most beautiful person I have ever known. She was a man of infinite goodness, but also shyness and greatness at the same time, she pointed out. – We have been in a great friendship since we met, that is, from my arrival in Warsaw, from 1963.

– I was 12 years in one theater with Traczyki – at the Dramatyczny Theater in Warsaw – she reminded. – We worked together for these 12 years in only one play, we always passed each other somewhere – she added. Horawianka explained that it was a play about Emilia Plater.

The actress also said that “although we had not seen each other since the beginning of the pandemic, because we could not come to each other, we spoke on the phone every day, at least twice a day.” – What more can you say when you lose such a friend? We’ll meet in a moment, I strongly believe in that. This is a great rush – said Barbara Horawianka.
