Actress Ieva Florence-Vīksne has left the staff of Daile Theater – Celebrities

The actress revealed that she had made such a decision in favor of her health because she felt burned out.

“I started to worry about several things in the Daile theater environment, I think I experienced a lot. It is typical for me, I have not learned anything else yet. [..] I started to give up work because I had panic attacks, fear of someone who hadn’t scared me before, so I wanted to hide or better yet – disappear from the world. I saw everything only in gloomy colors, in a pit pit.

The theater came to me, but I couldn’t predict how much time I would need, so neither I nor others could count on me at that time. For this reason, my choice of freelance was fair to myself and my colleagues. I am happy with my choice, because I have significantly improved my health,

the interview reveals the actress.

She adds that she will continue to associate her future with the profession of actress. “It’s clear that while in the state, actors have a job every season, while freelancers may not have a role in a particular theater at all. It’s a choice that’s not easy to make, then you still have to live with it because I still want to do the job. So I want to emphasize that leaving the state does not mean leaving the theater.

I am loyal to Daile Theater

and theater as a whole throughout Latvia. If a director invites me to play, I will be very happy to do so, “Florence points out.

We remind you that three new actors have joined the Daile Theater in the 2020/2021 season – Toms Veļičko, Imants Strads and Kārlis Arnolds Avots. At the same time, the director of the theater Juris Žagars claims that some new candidates may be addressed to fill the existing vacancies.

It is also known that Daile Theater has reached an agreement on termination of employment with Ivars Auziņš, Mārtiņš Počs and Aija Dzērvi. Within the framework of the redundancy procedure, negotiations on termination of employment are also underway with Sarmīte Rubulis and Kaspars Zāls.

Žagars reveals that no changes are planned at the moment, and everything is “stable and secure”. “If the situation in Covid-19 does not change, then we will stay that way, and the staff is staffed,” Žagars said.
