Corrie van Gorp passed away at the age of 78. She died in her sleep on Sunday, her family has announced.
The comedian, actress, dancer and singer gained national fame in the early 1970s through her performances in the theater shows of cabaret artist Wim Sonneveld. In 1974 she appeared for the first time in André van Duin’s revue. Besides Frans van Dusschoten, she was a well-known face in the popular revue company for years.
She had big hits with solo Soesafoon me, Be as slim as your daughter, Alie from the roadside assistance in I am a drummer.
