Actor Ryan Reynolds finally sees his movie Green Lantern, 10 years later

Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds finally decided to see his own superhero movie Green Lantern, 10 years after it was shown in theaters.

The film had a star-studded cast that included his now-wife Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, and Angela Bassett.

On Wednesday (March 17), Reynolds, 44, said on Twitter: “I’m going to do something I never did: watch Green Lantern.”

He said he did this before the premiere of another superhero movie, the version of Justice League director Zack Snyder, which he said he was excited to see, on Thursday.

Referring to Green Lantern, he said, “I just read my parts of the script, so it’s very exciting for me to see it.”

He tweeted his reactions live as he watched.

“This protagonist seems reckless, but nice,” he said, referring to himself.

He later tweeted: “Hey, @BlakeLively is in this movie !!”

The actor added, “That doesn’t bode well for my life as a father” when he posted a photo of himself with Lively in the film.

Reynolds and Lively, 33, met during the making of the film and were married in 2012. They have three daughters.

He also said, “Do you have any idea how strange it is to act while being attacked by invisible space energy?”

Your conclusion? “Hundreds of incredible cast and crew members have done an incredible job, and while it’s not perfect, it’s not a tragedy. Next time, I won’t wait a decade to see it.

Reynolds, who has had the most commercial success with the superhero films Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), is known for hating Green Lantern. The film was a flop at the box office and received only 26% of recent ratings on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

It even included a scene in the end credits of Deadpool 2, showing Deadpool going back in time to kill Reynolds while reading the Green Lantern script.
