One of the most emblematic actors and comedians of the end of the last century, and still active during these years, Dan Aykroyd (69) reported that after almost 40 years of being married to Donna Dixon (64), both have decided to separate friendly way.
The couple delivered a statement to “People” magazine, in which they made the announcement. Aykroyd and Dixon had been married for 39 years.and although they will no longer live together in the houses they have in Ontario (Canada) and Los Angeles, they specified that They will still be legally married.
Close to the couple they regretted the information, and pointed out that the couple, who met on the set of the movie “Doctor Detroit”, will maintain its business partnership and, obviously, their work as parents of three daughters.
Aykroyd, a Canadian national, and Dixon they married in 1983. They participated in several films together: “The Twilight Zone”, “Spies Like Us”, “The couck trip” y “Exit to eden”.
One of the reasons why the separation has not evolved into the condition of divorce is that both are partners in various businesses that the prolific actor conceived, among them a brand of vodka, online casino games and a chain of music venues.
