Activision already knows why CoD: Vanguard doesn’t sell

Call of Duty: Vanguard did not meet Activision’s expectations. You may have read this sentence before. The company newly revealed why last year’s episode did not sell so well.

“Although Call of Duty remains one of the most successful franchises of all time, our premium game of 2021 did not live up to our expectations, which we believe is primarily our own fault.” admits the publisher in the financial report.

“The inclusion of the game in World War II did not respond to some members of our community and we did not provide as much innovation as we would like.” lists the main reasons for Activision.

Are the players overtaken by World War II? I personally don’t think so. I see the above as the main problem innovations that Call of Duty has long lacked.

He could also speak to sales allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination. The allegations surfaced in July and a massive campaign on Vanguard began in August. The Wall Street Journal convicted one of the Call of Duty managers of a mistake. This has hurt the company so much that sales of Microsoft, which will be completed, have accelerated.

THE RESCUE IS CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2

Activision claims that all problems will be solved and will not affect this year ‘s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the upcoming new version of the free battle royale event Call of Duty: Warzone. Both projects are run by the Infinity Ward studio and involve more than 3,000 people.

The continuation of the soft restart of Modern Warfare is said to be the most ambitious work in the history of the series. Activision recalls that Modern Warfare is the most successful Call of Duty in history.
