At the end of November, the federal government reached an agreement on the wage framework for the next two years. As expected, the wage norm will remain at 0% during that period, regardless of the index. But companies that make a profit will be able to award a (one-off) prize of up to 500 euros. When it comes to really high profits, that premium can go as high as €750, topping the index.
