The bus driver was seriously injured in his shattered driver’s cab and seven passengers suffered minor injuries. They all went to hospitals.
Vice Fire Brigade Chief Paul Hopper: “The bus fell about 50 feet on the access road.”
According to the “New York Post”, the accident occurred at 11.10 p.m. local time (5.10 a.m. German time). According to police, no other vehicle was involved.
The investigators are now checking whether the driver has driven too quickly through a curve or whether the brakes have failed.
