LIVORNO – Riding his scooter he was overwhelmed and killed by a car driven by a 22-year-old girl who tested positive for the alcohol test who was arrested for road murder. The victim was called Andrea Matteucci, 17 years old, and was an athlete of the Libertas Runner of Livorno. Athletic companions
Andrea Matteucci died during the ride to the hospital. Libertas, the athletics club where he was enrolled, remembers him as a brilliant young sprinter and in a note he writes that there are no words to describe the pain of losing such a young boy.
