Accident champion car Losser: no license granted, possible criminal prosecution | Inland

It is examined whether the club can be prosecuted criminally or whether club members must account for themselves individually in court. KVV Losser celebrated a championship party on Saturday evening 21 May with the tour on the flat covered wagon through the village. Things went wrong on the Havezatensingel, on the edge of Losser. Emergency services arrived en masse. Those involved spoke of ‘an angel on their shoulder’ that only twenty injured people were injured, and that worse has been prevented.

The municipality of Losser previously did not want to say whether KVV Losser had an exemption to drive through the village with a tractor with a flat cart that 21st May. “Indeed, it turned out that no exemption had been requested or granted for this activity,” a spokesperson now says after questions from RTV Oost. It concerns an accident with moving traffic, which means that the police are the party investigating, the municipality emphasizes. The police will communicate the results of the investigation with the Public Prosecution Service, which does not yet want to make any announcements about the case.

Chairman of KVV Losser, Rogier van Vliet, does not want to say much to RTV Oost. He does state that the police have told the football association that “KVV Losser is no longer a suspect”.
