A motorist on Schefflerstraße in Villingen fled the scene of the accident early on Sunday morning.
Villingen-Schwenningen – As reported by police, the 36-year-old crashed his Peugeot into a parked Dacia Sandero and pushed it into a BMW. He fled without worrying about damages totaling around 6,000 euros. Attentive passers-by were able to inform the carabinieri of the fugitive’s license plate number, who found him a short time later at his home. There was also his damaged car.
The driver was clearly under the influence of alcohol, confirmed by an alcohol test of around two per thousand. He had to hand in a blood sample and his driver’s license. He now he is facing a variety of road traffic hazards and hit and run accidents.
