Books – Muhammad Hammam:

Syed Abdul Hafeez, Al-Ahly’s football director, revealed his club’s position regarding the signing of the current Emirati Al-Jazira club Keno, who is loaned out from the Pyramids ranks.

“Keno is a great player and he made distinguished levels last season with Pyramids, but the opinion of Swiss coach Rene Weiler will be crucial, and the decision will be according to needs,” Al-Ahly football director added in comments on the “Today’s Event” screen in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Abdel Hafeez explained during his statements: “In attempts to keep Ramadan, both with him and his English club Huddersfield, we will announce the details in due time.”

The last period saw Brazilian Keno announce his desire to play for Al-Ahly if the Red Club tried to get its services in the coming period.

On the other hand, Ramadan Sobhi has been playing on loan since January 2019, coming from the English Huddersfield team.

Abdel Hafeez continued to talk about the deals file, specifically about the possibility of recovering Hegazy, West Bromwich defender, to reply: “Hegazy has experiences and he is the defender of Egypt, and we are currently working on arranging our papers before the start of entering the summer transfer market.”

On the issue of strengthening the right front, he said: “Al-Ahly will not contract a foreign player after the departure of Ahmed Fathi. We have several alternatives, whether in the name of Ali Al-Maar from the ranks of El-Gouna, or a group of young people starting from the trio Ahmed Sayed Abdel Nabi, Mahmoud Saber and Fares Tariq next to Karim Yahya.” .

The director of Al-Ahly football, by talking about Mohamed Abdel Moneim, loaned to Smouha’s ranks, said: “Mohamed Abdel Moneim is a promising defender, and he will be a good player if he maintains his level.”

On the issue of loaned persons, Abdel Hafeez replied: “There was a session with Feiler three days ago, and talked about loaned, and we settled on two or three names. Muhammad Sharif and Akram Tawfiq are top priorities for Feiler, but the season is still continuing, and there are many variables that can happen.”
